Please note this is a previously pre-loved item. Imperfections are a unique aspect of vintage bags.
At Bags with a Past we carefully curate authentic, pre-loved designer pieces. Each bag in our collection has a history, that’s what makes it special. We are a small, dedicated team working to find, restore and present unique items with care. Because returns require time, inspection and handling that pull on our limited resources, we kindly ask that you only purchase an item if you truly love it.

- Returns must be pre-approved. Do not send an unapproved return.
- Return shipping: Customer is r esponsible for covering the shipping costs.
Eligibility for returns
- Request a return within 14 days of delivery by emailing info@bagswithapast.com with your order number, item name and reason for return. Include photos if relevant.
- Once approved, ship the item back so it arrives within 14 days after delivery. Unapproved or late returns may be refused.
- Final sale and specially marked items are non-returnable (this will be clearly stated on the product page).
Condition requirements
- Items must be returned in substantially the same condition as received. No additional wear, smells, cleaning damage or alterations.
- Include all original components that came with the item (Tag, dustbag, box, authenticity cards, tags) when present. Missing accessories may reduce your refund or cause rejection.
- We inspect returned items on arrival; refunds may be reduced for missing parts or newly evident wear.
How to initiate a return
- Email info@bagswithapast.com within 14 days of delivery with: order number, item name, reason for return and photos if applicable.
- We will reply within 48 hours to confirm eligibility and provide the return address and instructions.
- Pack the item carefully and ship using a tracked & insured method. Keep your proof of postage and tracking number.
Shipping costs & responsibilities
- Unless the item is defective or materially not as described, return postage is the buyer’s responsibility.
- If an item is returned that fails our condition check, we will contact you with options (possible partial refund, or return to sender at buyer cost).
- For international returns, customers are responsible for return postage, customs declarations and any duties.
Damaged or incorrect items on arrival
- If your item arrives damaged or is not the item you ordered, report it within 48 hours of delivery to info@bagswithapast.com with photos of the packaging and the item.
- Claims submitted after 48 hours may not be accepted. If approved, we will arrange a return or replacement and cover reasonable shipping for that approved return.
Inspection & refunds
- After we receive and inspect the return we will confirm the outcome within 7 business days.
- If approved, refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7 business days of inspection.
- Partial refunds may be applied when accessories are missing or undisclosed damage is found; we will always explain any deduction.
Rejected returns
- Returns that do not meet our requirements may be rejected and returned to the sender at the buyer’s expense. We will contact you prior to returning the parcel.
